Hi, I’m Keira, a second-degree medical student (on the OMFS shortened course) at the University of Liverpool, currently in 4th year. I previously studied Dentistry at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2021. Following this, I completed Foundation Dentistry in KSS before undertaking DCT1 in Community Dentistry and OMFS at QVH (East Grinstead).
For DCT2, I worked in OMFS at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Aintree University Hospital, where I continue to work. I also continue to practise general dentistry on an occasional basis. These roles have given me valuable experience across paediatric, community, and hospital-based dentistry, as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery. Outside of OMFS, I enjoy keeping active through running and playing football.
