Leeds
I’m Justin, a second-degree medical student at the University of Leeds pursuing a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I currently locum at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust on the second on-call rota, where I also completed one of my two DCT years. Previously, I worked at Wythenshawe Hospital for DCT training and completed Dental Foundation Training in London.
Having previously studied Dentistry at Leeds, I know both the city and university well. Alongside my interest maxillofacial surgery, I have developed a passion for education and leadership. I am hoping to undertake a specialised foundation programme to include a medical education rotation for my FY1/2.
Outside of medicine and dentistry, I enjoy running, cycling, and swimming, and have competed in triathlons and marathons. I value time outdoors, especially climbing mountains, fell running, and skiing.
