I graduated in Dentistry from the University of Porto in 2021 and I’m currently working as a Dental Core Trainee in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. My role includes managing acute on-call cases, supporting minor oral surgery lists, and working within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, patient-centred care.
I’m particularly interested in education, leadership, and improving the trainee experience. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve been involved in audits, governance, and teaching junior colleagues. I’m passionate about creating supportive learning environments and helping trainees feel confident and well represented.
As the East of England Regional Representative to the JTG, I’m looking forward to listening to trainees across the region, amplifying their voices, and helping strengthen communication between regional and national bodies. I hope to contribute positively to discussions around training quality, wellbeing, and professional development over the next year.
