Michael Goodfellow

My name is Michael Goodfellow and I am currently a second-degree dental student at Newcastle University in the north east of England. I graduated from medicine at Newcastle University in 2019 and undertook both foundation and core surgical training in the Northern Deanery. I do a bit of on-call work in both OMFS and ENT in the north east and really enjoy working at local units and hospitals.

I am delighted to take on the role as treasurer of the JTG this year! I have previously worked as the northern representative for the JTG and really appreciate the value and help they provide to early years trainees and those who are thinking about applying for the second degree.

Outside of work and study, I try and keep active with hiking and surfing at the beaches by Sunderland and South Shields. I also really love cooking and play in a local alt-rock band that performs in both Newcastle and Sunderland.
