Barts and the London
Hello, I'm Julie a final-year medical student at Barts and The London. Before medicine I studied Biomedical Sciences at Northumbria University and worked in industry as a laboratory analyst before completing Dentistry at UCLan.
My OMFS journey began with DCT1 in Salisbury, followed by a Trust Doctor role in Exeter, where I remained for DCT2. I then moved to The Royal London working as a Junior Clinical Fellow before returning to medical school. I currently work as an OMFS locum across Exeter, Queen’s Hospital Romford and Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.
I’m delighted to be representing Barts on the BAOMS Junior Trainee Group and hope to help connect students and trainees with opportunities, experiences and the wider OMFS community.
When I’m not running around a hospital, you’ll usually find me walking my dog, sampling as many of London’s pastries as humanly possible.
