Hi, I’m Helen, a second-degree medical student based in Aberdeen and your BAOMS JTG Scotland Representative this year.
I originally graduated in Dentistry from the University of Glasgow in 2018. Since then, I’ve completed VT in Fort William and Glencoe, DCT1 in Dumfries, DCT2 at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, and worked as an SHO in Sunderland. I now balance medical school with on-call work across Aberdeen and Fife. Along the way, I also completed a PGCert in Clinical Hypnosis with BCU.
Outside of work and study, I love adventure travel and have taken part in horse-riding expeditions in Mongolia, Georgia and Argentina.
