Passing MRCS Part B

Following on from the Introduction to MRCS series, we are holding a second teaching series aimed for more senior trainees. Our Passing the MRCS Part B series will cover exam technique with example stations demonstrated, explore suggested learning resources, and take a thorough look at what scares many OMFS trainees - the anatomy.

Look forward to the following lectures;

  • 5 Anatomy sessions, covering top to toe.

  • 2 Sessions covering critical care and surgical skills.

  • 1 Session covering approaches to pathology stations.

  • 1 Session covering approaches to history, examination, and communication stations.

    The first session focuses on head and neck anatomy, discussing cranial foramina, cranial nerves, blood supply, and orbital anatomy.

    The second session continues on the topic of head and neck anatomy, discussing the anatomy of the ear, the parasympathetic supply of the head, and the anatomy of the neck including fascial spaces, laryngeal anatomy, and innervation.
